Home decor at Uneleja: ceramics, glass, textiles and kitchen

The home decor range is organised into subcategories:

• Ceramics, porcelain and glass – porcelain by ceramicist Helina Tilk, work by ceramicist Kadri Kaerma, Estonian porcelain brand Porcellisa and glassware from Järvakandi Glass Studio. There are also Murano glass candle holders from the Italian glassworks Mazzega.
• Dining room and kitchen:
  • wooden serving trays and bowls by Estonian design brand uBent;
  • Japanese-style knives and sharpeners by French brand KOTAI;
  • tea and glass products by German brand Creano.

  The gourmet coffee, tea and fine food subcategory offers teas and other treats.

• Home textiles – tablecloths and table runners, throws and cushions, and bathroom and sauna textiles. The products come from Estonian brands:
  • KOOSdisain;
  • LOKO from the island of Hiiumaa, whose products feature traditional Estonian mitten patterns;
  • BSURD, an Estonian designer brand with its own prints.

  The range also includes products by Lithuanian home textile brand Hortensias.

• Children’s room decor – rugs and decorative details that bring colour and softness to a child’s room.
• Home fragrances and candles – fragrance products and candles to set the mood at home. This range is growing.

All products by Estonian makers are also gathered in our Estonian design category.

How to choose home decor

• Material. Porcelain and ceramics work on the table and on the shelf. Glass feels light and reflects light. Wood and textiles add warmth and softness to a room.
• Intended use. For tableware and serving pieces, check the product page to see whether the item is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. For decorative pieces, think about placement and size first.
• Size. Measure your table for tablecloths and runners. For throws and cushions, consider the size of your sofa or bed. For children’s rugs, plan around the play area and furniture.
• Style and combining. Start with one base colour and add texture through different materials. A wooden tray, a porcelain bowl and a textile runner create a cohesive table setting without everything needing to match.
• Care. Wooden pieces, handmade ceramics and Japanese-style knives each need their own care. Care and use instructions are listed on each product page.
