What do I need to know about caring for a cotton plaid??

  1. Washing: Before washing, be sure to check the care label on the stain to see the recommended washing temperature and other instructions. Normally a cotton blanket can be machine washed in warm water, but if cold water is recommended, follow this. Use a gentle wash cycle and do not wash with strong or rough materials to avoid damage from abrasion.
  2. Detergent: use gentle detergents that do not contain chemicals harmful to the cotton fabric. Avoid using bleaches and bleaching agents, as they may damage or stain the cotton.
  3. Drying: prefer air drying to avoid excessive shrinkage of the fabric or wrinkles caused by machine drying. Dry the cotton sheet straight or on a drying rack.
  4. Ironing: If the product is wrinkled, iron it on low heat. If the item is low in temperature, check the label on the lid to see the recommended ironing temperature before ironing.
  5. Storage:Store the cotton blanket in a dry and well-ventilated area to prevent mould or mildew.Do not store in direct sunlight to avoid fading or damaging the fabric fibres. This way, this beautiful item will serve you for a long time to come.
